I am Giampaolo Maneri, a Computer Science student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In addition to being a CS major, I am passionate about robotics, electronics and programming. In my free time I like to learn new things, take photographs and play violin!

Fields of Expertise

Electronics

I have been part of multiple projects where I had to design electronic circuits for many different applications. I have experience designing IoT devices and PCBs.

Programming

I have strong coding skills in C, C++, Python, Java, NodeJS and the Arduino Framework. I have also had the oppoortunity of use these languages on server side applications and embedded systems.

Robotics

I have experience in robotic prosthetics, both in the software and hardware side, and converting sensor data into movement.

2014-2021

Earned a High School Diploma with a focus on Science in Panama City, Panama. During my time at CIDMI, I had the opportunity to participate in many robotics competitions and projects. In 2019, our team earned the first place on the National Robotics Olympiad.

Responsibility :
  • Invited by Samsung to develop and implement a scholarship certification program for 228 Central American and Caribbean students focused on Scratch, Python, C, Arduino, and Algorithm Problem Solving.
  • Provided high school professors in Panama with important information and skills needed to prepare student participants for the International Robotics Olympiad taking place in Panama in 2023.
  • Created a full course on Arduino and electronics for high school students targeting public and private institutions.
